About

I’ve always loved books—there’s just something about them! 🙂

My father got me into the habit of reading early on. Like many Indian households, ours had strict rules about TV or other recreational distractions—but books were the glorious exception. I could read as many as I wanted, any time of the day or night. In our home, it was almost a sin to disturb someone who was reading… ha!

Of course, like many adults, my most dedicated reading years were during my student life. These days, I make ambitious reading plans and buy far more books than I actually finish (don’t we all?). For a few years, I was active on Goodreads, and I found great joy in reflecting on what I’d read—writing those little reviews felt like completing the reading experience itself.

This blog is my attempt to return to that tradition—on my own pace and terms—and perhaps letting it grow to include theatre, movies, and other creative mediums that move me. It’s a reading diary, a quiet space for reflection and recollection rather than a platform meant to attract readers. But if a fellow book lover happens to find their way here and wants to share their thoughts, I would be delighted.
